"He can be pushed around" - Dick Morris talking about Obama~

I think sometimes, you get to appreciate an "insider's" opinion when FOX news has on their notable guests. Karl Rove refused to say certain things because he KNEW it would be related to B. Hussein Obama.

Dick Morris, former speech writer for former President Bill Clinton said out of the corner of his mouth, "Good, he can be pushed around" Dick said this on an upper politcal level. He noted that when Obama was intimidated, he responded, when he was pressured, he responded. Obama's responses are now becoming predictable. I think that what will truly ruin Obama is his own Ego. Apart from having a huge disconnect with the people ("Have you been to whole foods lately") uh no B, is that near Walmart? Obama doesn't have the experienced snipers and master planners on his campaign. Rhetoric and half truths at a convention of your "own" won't get you the blue collar workers you need. I think that by October, Obama will be afraid to breath for fear of saying the wrong thing "ON TAPE".

Burn in Hell Obama,Biden and Bill Clinton

For standing in the Pepsi center and Lying to your constituents. For blaming an ailing economy on John McCain (Not GW) and not saying a word about 9/11. It must be quite convenient to have such idiots for delegates. People that will believe the honesty of Joe (plagerism)Biden. And re-write the facts on Iraq. Fail to mention Obama's "gaffe" on the Surge.

And why do they have to keep showing the ugly bitch Michelle? Did the MEAN country of America put that hateful look on her face?

Disgusting. Micheal, you're right. Liberalism is a mental disease.

McCain up 5 points in Zogby Poll

How could the democrats be letting their big chance get away? Personally I believe that this "Bump" is a result of Rick Warren's interviews last weekend.

The McCain strategy is now easy to view. In 2008; We will once again see the democrat candidate getting a majority of their support from New York, LA, and Chicago. While losing the massive sea of red in between.

The Heartland.

In the heartland of America; people, (both Democrats and Republicans) still believe in God, Christmas and Moral Values. Obama exposed himself and his dedication to special interest groups last weekend. I don't think it is a coincidence that Obama took a nose dive in the polls. Refusing to comment on Abortion did not help him. But if his campaign is about change, then it was apparent that Obama is yet, just another side stepping politician passing the buck on the hard stuff to a "Higher Paygrade". The same Higher Paygrade that he will not allow in public buildings.

I could be wrong about the current nosedive. It might just be that as we're getting closer to the general election; America is waking up and starting to realize that their novelty candidate is less like the lovable "Dr.Cliff Huxtable" and more like "O.J. Simpson".

To quote a popular Radio and TV host from CNN:"Communism is Change!"

Being a Veteran

Sometimes I think that military veterans deserve special rights over non-veterans. It's difficult to receive an honorable discharge for many. Serving your country in the armed forces says something about a person that you can't begin to appreciate unless you've served your country. Even if you were just a mess cook stateside for four years; you still had to adhere to military regulations. You had to play the game. For many, the game is their life.

The Movie "Forrest Gump" is very accurate at describing the perfect military candidate. Forrest wasn't stupid, he followed orders. Anyone that can check their pride, personal feelings and ambition at the door will do well in the military. This is what makes it very hard for the military to keep great people. What makes America great are the people that are not afraid to push the edge of the envelope. I think that the current energy crisis will force Americans to reach down deep and create from the once envied "American Ingenuity"

This is another reason I feel that Veterans deserve special rights or recognition. Not only did you subject your life to the possibility of death at the hands of the enemy; but you also sacrificed your own personal growth for uniformity for however long you served.

I feel that veterans should have special voting rights that count twice. They should have a lifetime access to special government low rate financing for housing. Veterans should never be homeless. There should always be a place for veterans to stay sponsored by the government when a veteran is down and out.

In many dictator run countries; you have no choice. In America, you have the same rights to bad mouth your country even if you stayed home from the war and played X-box and lived with your mom.

It's just not right. Those who protect America, the military, the Police, the Firefighters, should have a special advantage in this country. The Americans that fought for this country are by far a cut above those that stayed home and pursued personal gain.

Being a Vietnam War Veteran, I can't see how anyone could cast there vote for anyone but John McCain in this election. McCain already proved that he knew more about war than Donald Rumsfeld. He also wanted to initiate the "Surge" that was recently successful 2 years ago. Now Bush is getting the recognition for McCain's Idea.

Would Obama even have a clue what a war strategy was? He still hasn't admitted that the surge was a success.

When Obama was representing slum lords in Chicago; John McCain was already a decorated war hero. At least John Kerry was a veteran. (with questionable medals)

John McCain was being beat and tortured by the same type of scum that Obama has shared committee seats with.

The fact that Obama was even selected over Hillary Clinton shows you the vitriol the leftists in this country have for America. Who could do more potential harm to this country than Obama? Who in the Senate has less experience than Obama? Not counting the two years he's spent campaigning.

Sadly, this election will not be the landslide it should be. Fortunately slightly less than half of the American voters smoke pot and watch reality shows. They (along with our enemies like Iran, the Taliban, Hezbollah, and Hamas) will be voting for this neophyte that refuses to salute the flag.

Obama's speech was "Don't tell me it's only words"

Barock Hussein Obama. (3 Islamic words) Only words? Yes America is that stupid.

Body Language prep for the Political debates and Interviews

The following is a brief lesson in NLP. This information is used to help employers, the police, security guards, and Parents detect a truthful response from a lie.

One body language indicator that was not included in this fine report was the use of the eyes in giving response. I'll make it easy:

If a person is standing in front of you and there eyes:

1. Look to the Left = It's a lie

2. Look to the Right= It's the truth

Remember it's from your point of reference so if they look to YOUR Right, it's the Truth.

Simplified : Left = Lie Right equals = Recollection (truthful)

Again it's important that you remember This is from YOUR POV. Your Right side or YOUR Left side.

VITAL CAVEAT: If the person answering is Left handed, all the above is reversed. In the picture above, Obama is looking to my Right which would indicate a truthful recollection. However; Obama is left handed. So whatever he was responding to was a "constructed" statement.

Add the other criteria mentioned below, the slow to response, the changing of the subject and most of Obama's answers were made under duress and fabricated as he went along.

Senator McCain receives Kudos for giving straight quick honest to the point answers. McCain has trouble with formal speaking. So look for the Senator to look to YOUR right frequently when he's trying to recall something. If he looks to YOUR Left, he's constructing a lie.

Keep this in mind when viewing the candidates in the debates. Don't worry about the TV Ads. The producers know this and will recut a scene if the candidate so much as moves one eye in the wrong direction

Introduction to Detecting Lies:
The following techniques to telling if someone is lying are often used by police, and security experts. This knowledge is also useful for managers, employers, and for anyone to use in everyday situations where telling the truth from a lie can help prevent you from being a victim of fraud/scams and other deceptions.

Warning: Sometimes Ignorance is bliss; after gaining this knowledge, you may be hurt when it is obvious that someone is lying to you.

Signs of Deception:
Body Language of Lies:
• Physical expression will be limited and stiff, with few arm and hand movements. Hand, arm and leg movement are toward their own body the liar takes up less space.

• A person who is lying to you will avoid making eye contact.

• Hands touching their face, throat & mouth. Touching or scratching the nose or behind their ear. Not likely to touch his chest/heart with an open hand.

Emotional Gestures & Contradiction
• Timing and duration of emotional gestures and emotions are off a normal pace. The display of emotion is delayed, stays longer it would naturally, then stops suddenly.

• Timing is off between emotions gestures/expressions and words. Example: Someone says "I love it!" when receiving a gift, and then smile after making that statement, rather then at the same time the statement is made.

• Gestures/expressions don’t match the verbal statement, such as frowning when saying “I love you.”

• Expressions are limited to mouth movements when someone is faking emotions (like happy, surprised, sad, awe, )instead of the whole face. For example; when someone smiles naturally their whole face is involved: jaw/cheek movement, eyes and forehead push down, etc.

Interactions and Reactions
• A guilty person gets defensive. An innocent person will often go on the offensive.

• A liar is uncomfortable facing his questioner/accuser and may turn his head or body away.

• A liar might unconsciously place objects (book, coffee cup, etc.) between themselves and you.

Verbal Context and Content
• A liar will use your words to make answer a question. When asked, “Did you eat the last cookie?” The liar answers, “No, I did not eat the last cookie.”

•A statement with a contraction is more likely to be truthful: “ I didn't do it” instead of “I did not do it”

• Liars sometimes avoid "lying" by not making direct statements. They imply answers instead of denying something directly.

• The guilty person may speak more than natural, adding unnecessary details to convince you... they are not comfortable with silence or pauses in the conversation.

• A liar may leave out pronouns and speak in a monotonous tone. When a truthful statement is made the pronoun is emphasized as much or more than the rest of the words in a statement.

• Words may be garbled and spoken softly, and syntax and grammar may be off. In other
words, his sentences will likely be muddled rather than emphasize

Other signs of a lie:
• If you believe someone is lying, then change subject of a conversation quickly, a liar follows along willingly and becomes more relaxed. The guilty wants the subject changed; an innocent person may be confused by the sudden change in topics and will want to back to the previous subject.

• Using humor or sarcasm to avoid a subject.

Little time to blog.....

First, the Album is coming along fine. After Kicking out the first 4 songs we ran into a snag on the 5th which to a lot of re-writing and of course recording. The 6th song I felt was going to be a slam dunk, but it has turned out to be a project.

I'm starting to pay less and less attention to MYSPACE.COM these days as Tom has gotten really greedy and devoted most of his website's bandwidth to loading full length movie trailers while you're trying to log in. Now once you log in; forget about checking your mail or new members.

If you want to get my attention, you can find me at facebook. It's much more user friendly than MYSPACE ever was.

What the hell is Russia trying to do? Start WWIII? I guess they figure it's time to make their move since the U.S. is in an Oil Crisis. Kudos for President Bush send Condi Rice over to Georgia, but if he had any guts; he would have gone himself.

McCain vs. Yo Mama

Once again, Nobama is dropping in the polls. He's gone from +7 on Monday to +3 Today. Now normally, one would say, it's good to be up in the polls. But this is the big "Republican ass kicking" election that the Leftists have waited 8 years for. You would think that with the aweful job little Bush has done as commander in chief; that a sock puppet with a donkey on his lapel would be leading by 20 points in the polls. But as the Pelosis and the other Anti-traditional extremist have siezed their opportunity, it seems they actually think they can put up a sock puppet that is so far to the left that he has not 1, not 2 but 3 Islamic names. A candidate whose guest list looks more like a parole board hearing.

We'll see how much America still loves war Heroes. If you think hard enough about it, McCain is the PERFECT candidate for the Republicans. This is a disposable election for the Republicans. Unlike the Muslim Party, of which this is a "must win" to save face election. If the Democrats can't beat a "Post-Bush" candidate, then they're as stupid as they don't want us to think they are.

McCain has nothing to lose. This is his last shot at the show. If Obama wins, inspite of Rev.goddam America, Phil (I wish I could have killed more people)Ayers, Ludachris (paint the white house black) and all the other American hating friends of his, Republicans can blame George Bush, just as they did Richard Nixon when Jimmy (everybody rides for free) Carter took the whitehouse. Thank God it wasn't Jerry Brown. It never surprises me how psychotic democrats get when they think they have an advantage.

Thought of the day

I came up with a profound statement today. I was talking about giving up Coffee. Then possibly other addictions like Light Beer. And It just hit me that, when we stop one thing, no matter what it is, we begin something new.

In this instance of coffee, when you decide to give up coffee; you start a life without coffee. This life is like a friend that gives you 70 bucks a month. That's your a friend that pays your cell phone bill. All because you quit forking out 2 to 3 bucks a day at Starbucks.

And the reverse is true. When you start something new; you quite "not doing" something with your time. For example, if you start a work out routine, you stop staring at the internet or cable TV for a few hours. This is like having a friend that's a plastic surgeon that will give you free Liposuction.

It's like the Yin/Yang. Every problem is an opportunity. And every opportunity can be a problem if you fail to see the upside.

So stop and think about what you're doing with your life. Are you doing what you came here to do? Do you think this is why you came into this incarnate state of being? If you were sitting in a recliner in the big sports lounge in the sky; why would you give that up to come to this planet, in this era, with the parents you had?

I'm going a little bit over the edge here, but ask yourself what your mission is here on this planet.

WANTED ~ My old Les Paul

I have been looking on EBAY for a Les Paul that resembles my "First Love". I use to own a Black Les Paul Custom circa 1971 to 1974. I bought it in San Diego in late 1976. I had the pickup covers taken off of it, and I had a special Brass/Bone Nut installed. The top hat knobs were replaced with speed knobs.

I would love to get that old Guitar back. I was contemplating marriage at the time and had 2 guitars. The other was a 74 bicentienial Firebird. I had to get rid of one of them. Truly the 2nd greatest regret in my life. So if anyone out there bought my Les Paul from "Rick's All Music" in San Leandro sometime around 1979, Please contact me.

The Greatest Marketing Product ~ HOPE

The hottest selling book/DVD of all-time is Rhonda Byrnes' "The Secret". The Secret has a cast of Philosophers, quantum physicists, clergy, DPMs, Psychologists, Financial trainers, and of course Rhonda.

But what is the Secret? The Secret is the "Law of Attraction". The movie and it's cast claim that it's an ancient history secret that has been known and coveted by a few and then discovered and practiced by only the truly great people of Wisdom like Einstein, Lincoln, Churchill, Plato, Beethoven etc....

The Law of Attraction states that you can be, have or do anything you want by creating the thought in your brain. Then by focusing on the actual details of owning or doing or having what ever it is you desire, you will send out powerful brain waves that the "Universe" picks up on and grants you such desires. From parking spaces to riches beyond Solomon's dreams.

The individuals that were interviewed in the movie are set for life. They each have their own self-help websites and seminars where they teach the principals of the Law of Attraction to guest that pay 1000.00 usd and up.

Esther and Jerry Hicks, the authors of "Ask and it is given" have a great angle going for themselves. Esther claims to be a medium that channels a collective Spirit called "Abraham". This Abraham manifestation speaks to Jerry and Esther's guests on cruise ships to the tune of about 1200 to 2000 a trip. Not only does Esther (via Abraham or visa verse)give advise from the ether, (other side) but Abraham writes books through Esther's computer.

Why are people spending millions of dollars on speakers, psychics and self-help resources?

They promise hope. Hope is as ambiguous or as specific as you want it to be. Hope removes us from the mundane ritualistic day to day march and tells us that tomorrow could be the day that we win the lottery, or get the Job we've been wanting for decades, or just a better state of affairs.

Nothing sells better than hope. From the snake oil salesmen of the frontier days to the new and improved anti-depressants in pharmacies. The bottom line is hope for a better life or life style.

But what if the Law never Attracts the new car, the soul mate or the mansion in the hills? You still have hope don't you? And the caveat of the Law of Attraction is that if you stop believing in it, your intentions will not manifest. So it's really a one way proposition. You have to keep hope alive or the fault is yours, not the Law of Attraction.

This leads us to a secondary market in hope; Books, Tapes and lectures on why the law isn't working for you. There are hundreds of books at Amazon that give you advise on "What you're doing wrong". Books like "The HIDDEN SECRET" or "How to make the secret work" or "The Missing Secret".

Don't you hate it when epiphanies are presented incomplete?

The after market of Hope tells you that you're almost there. You just need to get rid of the "Baggage" in your subconscious mind. NOW THIS IS WORTH THE MONEY, TIME, and INVESTMENT.

Investing in counseling to uncover your hidden baggage, is, in itself, a golden goose. Forget about making the secret work. You'll find that after a while, you're not doing it for that purpose. You're noticing that you are becoming a better person. Your friends and family notice a difference in you. You become at peace with yourself. You "clear out" belief systems that have been hurting you emotionally and socially all your life. If you still don't get the car; so what? You can't put a price on getting rid of the skeletons in your closet.

I'm still waiting on that phone call from David Bowie. I haven't given up hope. I know it could happen tomorrow or even before I go to bed tonight. But if it doesn't, what I've learned from trying to let it happen has been equally worth the price of admission. I've faced my fears. I've cried the tears. I've exorcised the demons.

I've come up for air and it feels great.

Manny Ramirez in Los Angeles

Is LA the city where Famous Bosox players go to die? I mean, You got Nomar, and now ManRam. The problem I see is LA has nobody to hit behind Manny so unless Kemp can up his game about 2 notches, Manny going to get pitched around quite a bit.

He's going to miss the comfort of having Big Pappi hitting in the number 4 spot. Still, this helps LA tremendously. Will the spacious outfield on Chavez ravine hurt Manny's power numbers? I don't think so. Adrian Beltre was able to put up decent numbers in his break away season. But then that was at the height of the steroid era.

It'll be interesting to see. The chemistry in LA is WAY different from the clubhouse in Boston. Perhaps Manny can kick Andruw Jones ass and get him on Slim Fast. Someone should call the guy from the TV series "Paranormal State" and get him to summons the ghost of Nomar Garciaparra. I think when Ted Williams died, he took Nomar's hitting soul with him. (mortal Kobat"Your soul is mine")

This should seriously help put space between LA and Arizona. Hopefully LA will be able to put with Manny's antics until the playoffs where Manny seems to excel like a Saturn V booster rocket. If the Dodger pitching can stay healthy, I don't see any national league competition.
