Thought of the day
I came up with a profound statement today. I was talking about giving up Coffee. Then possibly other addictions like Light Beer. And It just hit me that, when we stop one thing, no matter what it is, we begin something new.
In this instance of coffee, when you decide to give up coffee; you start a life without coffee. This life is like a friend that gives you 70 bucks a month. That's your a friend that pays your cell phone bill. All because you quit forking out 2 to 3 bucks a day at Starbucks.
And the reverse is true. When you start something new; you quite "not doing" something with your time. For example, if you start a work out routine, you stop staring at the internet or cable TV for a few hours. This is like having a friend that's a plastic surgeon that will give you free Liposuction.
It's like the Yin/Yang. Every problem is an opportunity. And every opportunity can be a problem if you fail to see the upside.
So stop and think about what you're doing with your life. Are you doing what you came here to do? Do you think this is why you came into this incarnate state of being? If you were sitting in a recliner in the big sports lounge in the sky; why would you give that up to come to this planet, in this era, with the parents you had?
I'm going a little bit over the edge here, but ask yourself what your mission is here on this planet.
Ace Out.......................
