Ace VS. Socrates via Plato

In Plato's "The Apology" which was written as Socrates' defense on charges of Heresy ; One main theme or teaching point re-iterated by highschool philosophy teachers to Harvard profefssors was: "The unexamined life is not worth living". Socrates was saying that man should think outside the lines. Imagine what could be possible. It was an empowering concept that ran against the current tide. (Being the Greek Government)

Let's think about the premise Socrates was willing to die for. The unexamined life is not worth living. Thomas Jefferson commanded that all men "Question with boldness, even the very existence of God. Should you do as Thoreau observes in his book "Walden" and wander in silent desperation, you willl never discover your own virtues. You will never contribute to society but just "occupy space".

Regardless, I think Socrates was misfocused.

The Life without Love is not worth living. Love covers a multitude of sins were taught in Sunday school. If you discover Love, a whole new world opens up. But be ye prepared. Once love is taken from you, you're destined for a life of memories. That is not a life worth living.
