Annoyed ~Frustrated ~Mad ~Angry ~ Hateful
Excerpt from my FaceBook entry on 08/05/09
It's times like this when we need to remind ourselves that Hate and Anger are poisons that we ingest in an attempt to kill someone else. Hate and anger will interfere with your gentle aim. You can not hit your target if you can't see straight. Relax, take a deep breath, focus on the target, then gently squeeze the trigger. That's how you will hold on to your country. I'm speaking metaphorically of course.
We're truly living in a time when responsible citizens of America are "Mad as Hell and we're not going to take it anymore". (network,1977)
I long for the days when I was as stupid and ignorant as those who voted for Obama. But I lost that ignorance at the age of 12 when I was working in the campaign office of John McFall (D)congressman from CA. Once you understand the political arena, you can't go back. The problem is, we live in a soundbite society and politics has become a soundbite/photo "op" driven institution. Something our current emperor knows all to well. Don't forget, the only other job he's had was teaching paid zealots how to protest big business. And now the Wolf rules the hen house.
THE QUESTION I PONDER IS THIS: "At what point do we develop the ability to hate"?
If you look at the current town hall meetings; they look like 19th century lynch mobs. Obama has screwed taxpayers with absolutely no remorse. Spending hundreds of millions on the safety of turtles and the survival of the "Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse"
While telling Americas greatest generation that they may have to "take a pain pill" instead of getting a hip replacement, because they're too old.
It's hard for me to write this blog without feeling the Hate,Anger and Frustration those who survived Hitler are being forced to hear. A protester stood up today and said:"Why are trying to force a major bill like Healthcare down our throats in 3 weeks; when the president took 6 months to pick out a dog for the whitehouse"?
Logic, frustration and Anger for sure.
But every word I wrote on FaceBook is true. Anger and Hatred are poisons that we ingest hoping it will kill our opponent. So it got me to wondering. When do we develop our ability to hate or be angry? I would guess as an infant, we cry with discontent for a clean diaper or a fresh bottle. (I could use a fresh bottle myself)
But I don't think this is anger or hatred, but rather frustration. Believe me America is very frustrated.
I believe we all need to have an assassin's mentality. An Eagle's mentality. We need to be more operational and less emotional. Emotions cloud your ability to operate. I'd rather have a slightly drunk surgeon operate on me than an Angry surgeon. Emotional people do not make good assassins. Emotions should be spent on your children and your family. Even then, the wrong emotions can make the train take a wrong turn.
America; You need to prepare for a possible insurrection. Our country was founded on civil disobedience against England and should the current administration try and "tread on us like the King did", You can bet Americans will not hesitate to resort to rioting in the streets. Many Americans are already prepared. Gun sales are at an all-time high. Many people are buying a 30 day supply of food and water.
Prepare America. Be calm. Show your opposition to this government take over in the way of peaceful protests. Stand on the corner with your sign.
But be prepared.
