Can you drop the shovel?

Sometimes in life we dig ourselves into a hole. The shovel we use may be gambling, pornography, anger, alcohol, adultery, etc... But the more we practice this vice, the deeper a hole we dig.

Drop the Shovel.

If it's drugs, drop the syringe. If it's sex, drop the prostitute. You can't get out of the whole until you stop digging a deeper whole. Climbing out of the hole will take a while. But you can't climb out and dig the hole at the same time.

I know I'm not one to be talking as I have my own shovels. But brothers and sisters, if you can drop yours; be a better Christian than me.
