Weekend of the Harvest Moon

Friday morning, on my way to Starbucks, I was pulling out of my parking area which enters onto the front of Del Monte Beach, and I was stunned by a huge orange moon setting over Monterey Bay. The moon was reflecting on most of the bay (which is pretty big). So I set my alarm for Saturday morning to wake up at 5:00am. ON A SATURDAY, as Saturday was the real Harvest moon.

So I wake up at 5, grab my tripod, my digital camera and my Nikon analog camera and head down to the beach.

One word................ FOG

Subsequently, I had to sleep in this morning and the Bay was just crytal clear.
